In the Land of Death and Desire

Your death be a wall gecko,
Progeny, chameleon.
Poetry be a loose lazy gamecock,
Unaware of the tensing
Leash at my big toe.
Oh let your death
Be of a myriad
Blinking lights
Known only to the
Sleepwalking.
Let it be
Of the seamless
Cloth of my mother's saree,
Dancing peacocks,
Merry elephants
Ta da da dum,

Bam bam.
